Tesla Delivers More Electric Cars Than Initially Predicted

While not everyone thinks Tesla will stick around for long, the company notes impressive figures. particularly the delivery of electric cars during 2019 has been rather remarkable.

Electric cars remain incredibly popular all over the world.

The Success of Tesla Continues

Particularly in the US, demand for Tesla cars appears to be on the rise.

Tesla successfully delivered 112,000 vehicles in Q4 2019.

In doing so, the company succeeded in surpassing its own expectations.

Throughout all of 2019, a total of 367,500 Tesla vehicles has been delivered.

That represents a near 50% increase compared to 2018.

It is also higher than the combined delivery numbers for both 2017 and 2018 combined.

As is to be expected, Tesla share prices responded rather positively to these figures.

It is evident that the company will need to meet even higher expectations in this decade.

To do so, Tesla confirmed it will ramp up production in the US and Shanghai.

Speaking of which, nearly 1,000 customer salable cars have been produced in China so far.

Considering how the Gigafactory only broke ground in early 2018, that is fairly impressive.

This news comes at  a crucial time for Tesla as well.

The company recently achieved profitability for the first time in a whole.

As the delivery numbers continue to ramp up, it seems plausible to assume that this streak will continue.
